Information collected via Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record):

When you purchase the Software, your payment and transaction is processed securely by our authorized Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. We do not collect or store your credit card details or billing address.

We receive the following minimal information from Lemon Squeezy to generate and manage your software license:

  • Your Name
  • Your Email Address
  • Purchase/Order details (to verify your license)

Information collected by the Software (Smoozy):

The Smoozy desktop application is designed to be privacy-first.

  • No telemetry: The Software does NOT collect, track, or transmit any usage data, analytics, crash reports, or personal files to us.
  • License checks: The Software will periodically connect to Lemon Squeezy's servers solely to validate your license key and activation status.
  • Update checks: The Software may periodically connect to our servers to check for available updates. This request only transmits the current version of the Software you are running.

2. How we use your information

We use the minimal information we collect (your email and name) solely for:

  • Issuing and managing your Software license keys.
  • Sending you important transactional emails (e.g., purchase receipts or critical security updates).
  • Providing customer support if you contact us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties.

3. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate our business:

  • Lemon Squeezy: Acts as our Merchant of Record and payment processor. Their use of your personal information is governed by their own Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel: Hosts our website. Standard web access logs (like IP addresses) may be temporarily collected by Vercel for security and performance monitoring in accordance with their privacy policy.
